The store IKA represents a carefully curated selection of Slovenia's most interesting products, authors, and brands. We have revamped the entire visual identity and web for this established store, opening a new chapter for design specialists.

We chose a sans-serif typeface with a strong character for the logo, conveying playfulness without being childish. The brand name is short and appealing, yet the awkward space between the letters K and A presented a unique challenge. By emphasizing the letter K, we bridged the gap to the letter A, adding an attractive semicircular finish. The tagline repeats the visual form of the letter A, inspired by the recognizable arches in the architecture of the IKA store building.

We chose warm, pleasant colors for our color palette, which can be combined with more vibrant shades. To achieve a fresh and modern look, we were inspired by the hues of brick or terracotta, replacing black with dark brown and warm beige. The calm and earthy tones were combined with lively orange and purple to create a beautiful blend. And there you have it!
